Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of Beni Suef University, announced that the Faculty of Special Needs Sciences will launch an afforestation initiative in preparation for the new academic year, in cooperation with the Department of People with Disabilities Affairs in the governorate.

This came during his presidency of the University Council No. 187

The university president stressed the importance of the initiative in encouraging members of the university community to pay attention to the culture of afforestation, which is one of the important behaviors that carry an environmental and aesthetic impact for the community, and it also provided an economic dimension by planting fruit plants and trees, in addition to its contribution to increasing green space and spreading the spirit of teamwork.
