Master Abstract

Praise be to Allah, the Lord of the Worlds, and prayers and peace be upon the most honorable creation of all of God, our master Muhammad, the Seal of Prophets and Messengers. After, This paper deals with the subject of the Versailles Conference and its implications on the political map of Europe. The importance of this study is that the Versailles Conference is one of the most important conferences in the history of contemporary Europe, because it determined the fate of many countries of the European continent after the scourge of a great war in which the European society suffered many human and material losses. An entire continent, the development of new standards, and non-map of political Europe after the First World War (1914-1918). In addition, this conference is of great importance through the effects and implications it has left, the most important of which is the contraction of the Austro-Hungarian Empire, the German Empire, the Russian Empire and the Ottoman Empire under the Treaties of Reconciliation. In addition, the Conference has laid the seeds of new nationalities and states that have not existed on the political map of Europe before. On the other hand, the conference helped to establish the system of alliances among countries. It also helped the emergence of new world powers, both politically and economically, which had an active role in the region, laid the foundation of a new system of colonialism under the so-called mandate system, In order to settle inter-State disputes between the States, the League of Nations and the International Court of Justice. In addition to the economic and social effects, including the issue of compensation and its economic effects, the global economic crisis, and the social changes witnessed by most of the countries of the European continent. It is important to study the topic that most researchers in modern and contemporary history were very interested in other branches, without interest in the study of European history, in addition to the absence of a previous study on this subject except the subject of "the position of the Conference of Versailles of the Arab Mashreq" The Versailles Conference of Resolutions concerning the Arab States. The most important sources of research are the documents of the Versailles Conference and the subsequent treaties of reconciliation, such as the decisions of the Treaty of Versailles, Saint-Germain, Trianon, Neuilly, Seifre, and Lausanne. These documents were found in some sources, "He said. In addition to relying on some other foreign sources that were contemporary to those events or soon after, perhaps the most important of which were the 1919 Versailles of Frederick Neuwick, and the economic results of the Kenes Peace Conference. As for the methodology of the study is analytical methodology based on documents, sources and historical references to highlight the real picture of the Conference of Versailles and its implications on the map of Europe's political. PHD Title

The Conference of the Conference and its Political Implications for Europe 1945-1956

PHD Abstract

The Potsdam Conference is one of the most important conferences in the history of contemporary Europe, because it determined the fate of the European continent and indeed the whole world. After the scourge of a second world war, the European and international societies suffered many human and material losses, as well as the effects and repercussions. The map of Europe has changed after European countries lost large parts of their territory in favor of other countries. Border problems also arose between European countries such as the South Tyrol, Trieste and Saar. The conference divided Germany into two parts. By 1949, West Germany, and the East German Democratic State. On the other hand, the conference helped to establish military alliances, notably NATO, which included Western Europe under the leadership of the United States of America, and the Warsaw Pact, which included the Eastern European countries under the leadership of the Soviet Union. Leading to the outbreak of the cold war and the division of the world into two rival blocs. The Potsdam Conference also established the foundations of a new system of colonialism under the tutelage system in lieu of the mandate system, and endorsed the United Nations as an alternative to the League of Nations. As well as economic impacts such as compensation and its economic effects, the Marshall Plan for the reconstruction of Europe, the Schuman project, and US and Soviet economic assistance to European countries.
