This study dealt with hair Layla al-Akhyaliyya in light of the achievements of modern stylistic research; as it tries to reveal what characterized the hair poet of stylistic features from other Arab poets, through a group of detectives and chapters that shed light on it.

The poetry of El-saalik in the pre - Islamic Age: A Study in Cultural Discourse Analysis

PHD Abstract

Abstract The present study tackles the poetry of El-saalik through a group of critical entries that handle it as a discourse that depicts a cultural event during, a certain historical episode, the Pre-Islamic era. The El-saalik’s poetry, as a cultural event, presents the impact of culture on the poetic discourse by the use of number of critical entries that show the hidden ideology beyond them. As a multi rooted and complicated cultural event, the study adopted New Historicism, Post-Colonialism, Cultural Criticism and Culture Studies approaches.
