Receive visual textual formulations in the light of the semiotic direction

Research Abstract

The present study investigates the most common semiotic ways of receiving visual formations of literary texts. Semiotics is a critical trend which examines signs and their different types: linguistic and nonlinguistic. The study also offers a hypothesis that vital response of these formations relies on how to attract the readers’ attention. In addition, all visual formations are semiotic signs, which have denotations; semocians explore and highlight these pragmatic signs and delimit denotative and aesthetic signs that have different interpretations. Semiotics does not shed light on these formations directly or rhetorically as direct sings don’t need much effort for interpretation. Semoticians also adopt diverse ways of receiving and interpreting semiotic formations- main features, bold lines- while others adopt some of these formations and this is what is the study going to explore.
