The Role Of Religious Organizations In The Egyptian Society : An Analysis Of The Content Of The Tebian Magazine Issued By Alsharyah Organization
Research Abstract
The main objective of the study is to account for the most important features of the historical development of the religious organizations in the Egyptian society. It is to shed light on the establishment and development of one of the most significant religious organizations in the Egyptian society. Its structure, its relationship with the government, and the role it plays in serving the local community in addition to identifying the most important obstacles that may hinder the efficiency of the organization.
The historical approach is adopted in the study in order to highlight the historical phases of the religious organization.
The results of the study support the validity of the following hypotheses:
1. the religious organization constitute an open social system reacting directly to the environment and the community.
2. The role of the organization complements the role of government.
3. The category of poor people is the most likely to benefit from the activities of religious organization.
4. Governmental interference with the activities of the organization is the major obstacle hinders the fulfillment of its aims.
