Tarjeeh Arguments and Standards in Cases of Different Exegesis: Al-Qasimi's Mahasin al-Ta'weel as A Case Study (From Surat al-Fatihah to Surat Al-Nisaa)
Research Abstract
The present study explores the arguments of Al-Qasimi's tarjeeh (Preference) in his explanation of Mahasin al-Ta'weel (Interpretation Merits) to shed light on these arguments and provide commentary remarks through several illustrative examples. The study also examines Al-Qasimi's ability to prove his views, employing textual and rational proofs in case of differences with previous old commentators. In this line of thought, readers can perceive the specificities of his contemplation and reasoning as regards the causes of tarjeeh.
