The dimensions of deliberation in the political documents of the Prophetic and Caliphate

It focuses on the pragmatic dimensions of documents through studying certain texts, conducting a pragmatic analysis of them, based on the linguistic and non-linguistic contexts of discourse, and taking into consideration the three main components-namely, the sender, the text and the recipient, as well as the circumstances related to the three components, with the aim of gaining insights into the significance and objectives that the texts are meant to realise. The topic was chosen because of the very special nature of documents as texts, particularly the richness and variety characterising their pragmatic aspects. In other words, these texts are based on direct and indirect interaction between two parties, using Arabic, or any other language, as a medium of communication, at a time when Arabic reached a zenith of eloquence, which makes such texts very suitable for applying the principles of pragmatics in their analysis. .
