Social Organization of School and The Problem of Absenteeism ( A Case Study of One of the Secondary schools in Beni- Suef Governorate )
Master Abstract
In general , this study aims at recognizing the size of The problem of school absenteeism , and the factors leading to this problem . In addition , It studies the social formal and informal organization of school , and the relation between this organization and the problem of absenteeism.
To achieve the aims of this study , answer its questions , and verify the truth of its formed hypotheses , the researcher uses the case study method depending on systematic observation . The researcher uses also the experimental method by comparing two groups of students . The first group , the experimental group , comprises 126 students who are absentees from school . The other group , the control group , comprises 126 students who are persistent attendants to school.
The data has been collected through using some tools such as interviewing schedule , systematic observation , and analyzing the content of school documents and records .
The results of this study support the following hypotheses :
1 - The Knowledge of the causes of Absenteeism is more effective in curing the problem of student absenteeism than punishment .
2 – There is a relationship between the social norms of primary groups and the emergence of the problem of school absenteeism .
3 – The probability of similarity of the rates of absenteeism increases among the members of same primary group .
4 – Improvement of the Quality of life leads to decreasing the rates of school absenteeism .
The results of study do not support the following hypotheses :
1 – The effect of primary groups on the problem of school absenteeism is greater than the effect of the other factors .
2 – The students Knowledge of the rules of punishment decreases school absenteeism rates .
3 – Supporting formal and informal communications in school leads to reducing the problem of school absenteeism .
4 – Being related to primary groups leads to reducing the problem of school absenteeism

The Social and Cultural Obstacles of Electronic –Learning (A field Study on A Sample of University Students)
PHD Abstract
The study generally identify the most important factors that lead to non-blockbuster students to use e-learning and to identify the most important benefits and cost felt by the students as a result of this learning, In addition to identifying the major obstacles facing e-learning, in particular social and cultural constraints From the point of view of students benefiting from e-learning.
In order to achieve the objectives of the study the researcher adopted the experimental method, where the comparison between two groups of students in Beni-suef University; the first experimental group consists of 150 students, students benefit from e-learning programmes, other group control group consists of 150 students from students who are not users of e-learning programmes.
Data were collected for this study through the use of several tools and methodology are questionnaire, direct observation, in-depth interviews with some faculty members who have changed their courses from paper to electronic image in addition to the analysis of documents and records in the University eLearning Center.
The results of the study support the validity of The following hypotheses:
1 - Not blockbuster students to use e-learning to double their capacity and willingness to learn.
2 - The deployment of e-learning culture of the most important methods to increase students' motivation to e-learning.
3 - Lead e-learning to configure special intellectual capital and competitive advantage for students in the labour market.
4 - Not blockbuster students to use e-learning to feel that its usefulness below cost incurred as a result of this learning.
5 - Social and cultural constraints are one of the most important obstacles faced by using students for e-learning.
6 – The Social isolation of students is one of the most important Social and cultural obstacles facing e-learning.
7 - There is a relationship between the type of social standards prevailing in the peer group and the use of students for e-learning.
8 - Peer group is one of the most important bodies of the socialization that affects student use of e-learning.
