Transformational Leadership and Organizational Energy in Schools: A Comparative Study in Beni -Suef Governorate
Research Abstract
The present study aims at depicting the relationship between transformational leadership in its different dimensions (idealized Influence-intellectual stimulation - individualized consideration- motivation- empowerment) and organizational energy in its different dimensions (cognitive-effective and behavioral energy) for teachers at a public and private school.
The present study adopts a comparative approach and a social survey method of a sample consists of (74) teacher. A measure of both transformational leadership and organizational energy.
The results affirm a higher degree of transformational leadership in the private schools the public ones. In addition to a higher degree of organizational energy in the private school than the governmental schools. The results also come with a positive relationship with a strong statistical significance between transformational leadership and organizational energy of teachers in public and private schools.
